Corona sucks
me into waves
of melancholy
and depression
I keep myself
well under lock
and key, and down-
stairs hardly show
my face but ra-
ther cough up thoughts
which clearly show
that I have gone
half mad with fear
locked-down in mind
and soul, immune
to what was once
my pleasure: to speak,
to laugh, to jest,
to ponder and digest,
now I can hard-
ly write a line
but put my heart
in quarantine.
