This is a poem I wrote last summer thinking about how upside-down our world (literally!) has become in the wake of this terrible, horrible pandemic. I wanted to have some ‘fun’ in its wake, if such a thing is possible, and write a poem about how a beloved classic would have been turned on its ear if it had been produced during these norm-shattering years of 2020 and 2021.
