Sadness follows people around
Our past way of life can not be found
The freedoms we once had are gone
Science and guidelines we must count on
Face masks mandated in many places
It’s now essential to cover our faces
Temperatures taken
Sanitizers a must
To our new way of life we have to adjust
This virus could be around for a long time yet
Even though it has weakened it is still a threat
