Covid isolation
staring at a gecko
staring at me
Covid mornings
the repeated cockadoodledoo
of a rooster
Covid nights
a stray dog licks
its sores
a cough scatters
a flock of pigeons
Covid scare
fishes
in the aquarium
Covid lockdown

Despite the serious nature of Covid, we need humour. This poem has it, I enjoyed it.
Germina Melius, thank you! I am glad you enjoyed reading my poem.
