Who knew life could be so restrictive, so isolating, so uncertain,
Separating families, controlling decisions and compressing our emotions,
Blurring guidance, rising tensions, mixed opinions; taking own actions,
Loved ones lost, loved ones gained,
Friendships built, communities restored,
Adaptations, mutual understandings, rising to challenges,
Courage and strength, unity and love, hope and faith,
COVID YOU WILL BE BEATEN!
