Are you not weary of our airways,
More of our mucus, cough, and phlegm?
Bring us no more infected days.
Your crown has set our lungs ablaze
And you have caused us much mayhem.
Are you not weary of our airways?
Inside our homes we feel malaise,
Outside our friends fear us, we them.
Bring us no more infected days.
Our virtual office and in-trays
Form our one isolating den.
Are you not weary of our airways?
While vaccinating arms we praise
The chance that we will live again.
Bring us no more infected days.
But still you threaten holidays
When we’ll want things we now condemn.
