I wrote this after hearing my own grandchildren and other children’s experiences of being in the current situation of home school lockdown. Bless them.
My poem Why was written during lockdown as a tribute not only to my four beautiful Granddaughters but also to all children everywhere. While bravely battling not only a pandemic but also a complete life style change with on line schooling etc. While also being self distanced from their friends and family and all things familiar to them. Their whole lives were suddenly totally affected and changed as they bravely re adapted.
I hope my poem Why expresses just how proud we all are of all of our 2020’s children.
