James attended Edinburgh College of Art, studied illustration and played in a number of bands. After college, he travelled, wrote and performed before settling into earning a wage and continuing his creative work around that. During lockdown, including creativity in the days of waiting has proved increasingly important to his sanity, and he’s produced nearly 200 drawings and illustrated poems during lockdown.
