Ill-lumination

By Renie Rivas

Fully-vaxxed. Truly blessed.
In a chair. On a date.
Eating a meal. Drinking a drink.
Thinking “How wonderful.” Under awful fluorescent bulbs. Over a year of eating alone.
Ordered something special. Had the PTSD.
It deserved better lighting.
