Dr. Doug Sandle, poet and writer is a retired Chartered Psychologist and a former University lecturer, and researcher. He came from the Isle of Man to study at the University of Leeds in 1960 and was very much involved in the then emerging and vibrant student arts scene. Doug founded and edited several arts and poetry publications, including 61, Icon, Moma and was published in Poetry and Audience. His more recent work has been published in The New European, The Ekphrastic Review and in the anthology, The View From Olympia (poetry on sport and the Olympics). He is currently working on an Ekphrastic anthology on illusion and art.
